Bumper stickers are here

The Sage of Hytrae bumper stickers are in. I will be selling these at my booth for $1, or giving them away with book sales. Headed into town now to setup.

Day one is done

First day at OTD is over, and it was a hot one. I enjoyed talking to the several visitors I had today. Since it’s a school night I shut down a little early to get the kids home and in bed. Tomorrow I hope to be open from about noon and into some of the later hours.

Here’s a picture of the booth!

OTD starts tomorrow!

Hey everyone,

I will be setting up at Old Timers day festival in Peebles, Ohio tomorrow. The festival officially kicks off late afternoon the same day. Be sure to stop by if you are in the area!

Meant to get this posted Saturday when they came in, but the new bookmarks are here!

If you find me at any of the festivals (including OTD this year) I will have these on hand to pass out!

As you can see it has the trilogy artwork and book titles on the front. On the back is my picture (from the back of the books, I really should get an updated picture for the next book release), a brief bio, list of published books and my website at the bottom.

I should have some bumper stickers to bundle with book sales, or sold separately for $1. They are still in the mail, but should be delivered by tomorrow. I will upload pictures of those once they arrive as well.

I am excited to get to meet anyone and everyone at the festival 😁

Until then, May God bless you, and please don’t feed the Jacobs

August Update and Announcements!

Hey everyone!

So good news, I will be setting up a booth at the local street fair in Peebles Ohio once again! The festival is called Old timers days, and takes place Sept. 12th through the 15th this year. This is only the second time for me to setup a booth at OTD and I will be available to both sign physical books, and will have a supply of paperbacks you can buy there as well.

I am hoping to have some related merchandise of some kind to sell/give out at the festival as well. More details on those once I have them more solidified. At the very least I will have a new set of bookmarks to give out to anyone who wants them (maybe this time without the typos the first set I gave out had haha).

Also quick update on the newest novel. As the book has begun to really take shape I’ve been wondering if I am ready to really move it forward much more. I probably shared information on the book too soon, luckily I was also somewhat vague. I have been running into major issues with flow, and structure for the novel and have realized that to tell this story well I’ll have to rewrite everything I have written so far… This is frustrating, and I do apologize sincerely about not getting this story out there this summer.

This delay will probably push that book out a ways too, because I have been making plans for next year’s 5 year anniversary of The Sage of Hytrae Book 1 (The Crystal Seal) being released. More news on that as well at a later date, but you can expect some new writing in that world as a mininum from me. What form the new stories will take is still being worked on, I wouldn’t expect a new Novel, nothing quite that extensive to announce haha.

I feel the weekly blog posts have been going well, so those aren’t going anywhere so no worries there, the next one should be wrapping up the basics of writing series sometime next week.

I would also like to thank everyone again who snagged my trilogy for free back during the first week in July this year. Please if you have had a chance to read them by now drop a review on amazon, it really helps (that goes double if you enjoyed the books haha).

I think that’s all I have to share today. I’ll keep everyone posted if I am able to cook up some extra Sage of Hytrae goodies, or really anything of the sort. With only a month left to really get things ordered I have to be moving quick, so stay tuned.

Until next time, and don’t feed the Jacobs!

Thank you to everyone who made it out to the Book signing

Hey everyone,

I would like to thank everyone who made it out to the book signing last Saturday. It was an honor to be invited, and I had a good time. I would like to thank the Peebles Magazine Club, and Adams County Library for putting the event on.  Below are some pictures from the event! Apparently I only smile in group photos ha ha ha.

October 15th Book Signing

Hey everyone!

I’m excited to share some info from the Peebles Library concerning the Book Signing on October 15th (Saturday!). Just to make sure I don’t mistype something I will quote them below:

“On Saturday, October 15 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. join the Peebles Magazine Club in welcoming six local authors to the Peebles Library for a book signing. Come meet Tom Cross, Christopher Hilger, Tom Johnson, Mary McFarland, Gwendolyn Mason, Amy Phipps. Their published books range from natural history to romantic suspense to mystery and beyond. Call 937-587-2085 for more information.”

If your in the area myself and the other authors attending would love the support!

October update

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to make sure I hopped on and left a note of how things are going.  Book three is going well, I might be ready to announce the title late this month, but it is probably going to be early next month. I’ve been sick a lot the last three weeks, so that has definitely slowed me down some. I’m hopeful to have the manuscript in proof reader’s hands by mid November.

Thank you all so much for all the support during the free book promotion. After reviewing the total numbers it looks like it doubled the number of people who have my first book, which is very exciting.  I hope everyone who got to pick it up enjoys it, as many of the people I’ve talked to have.

Oh! One final announcement. I am planning on being at a book signing at Peebles’ branch of Adams County Library, (that is in Ohio if you don’t know). That event should be taking place on October 15th and I’m still working on finding out a time. I will update as soon as I have more details!

We will be attending OTD in Peebles Ohio!

Hello Everyone!

I am happy to announce that I will be setting up a booth at the Old Timer’s Day Festival in Peebles, Ohio.  The Festival takes place September 17 – 20, 2015.  I will have books with me available for purchases (while supplies last), and will sign books upon request.  On the 19th @ 6PM I plan to draw the raffle for a book themed cake (of course the theme is The Crystal Seal), and you must be present to win (The cake will not be there the whole time, but it will be at the drawing and a little before).

I will be submitting an official press release later today.  If you are able to attend OTD I hope to see you there!
